I'm living in Henry Co. right now and can't find any info on a Skywarn net in the area. Any one know if there is one and where to find it? Also, are there any amateur radio shops in the Atlanta area?
Thanks,

Ham Radio Outlet is in Doraville on Buford Hwy off of I 285. Great folks. Go 285 east around the east side of the circle, up north, pass over I 85, Buford hwy is 2 more exits up. Get off and go right heading east. Up about 3 miles on your right. 770-263-0700, 800-444-7927

I don't think there are any REGULAR Skywarn nets. Skywarn activates when they are needed. There will be local ARES Nets sponsored by the various county-local radio clubs. Ask or listen around on the busier local 2 meter repeaters. Usually the local ARES groups do the Skywarn stuff also as a sideline.

Great, thanks for the info. I forgot about HRO, and I probably would never have found the net info.
