Sad to see the company go. I've met some of the people who worked on that rig through my interactions with SMFR. Do you happen to know where 35's engine is likely heading?

35's will be just a Truck then and the ARFF? At one point, didn't it have Engine, Tower, Medic, Heavy Rescue and ARFF? Are they going to keep the per-shift staffing the same by increasing manpower on some of the existing companies?

35's has seen many units and crews over the years. At one point though yes, Engine, Tower, Medic, Heavy Rescue & ARFF were all there together. The staffing model now provides 4 Firefighters on the busiest Engine's... 33, 41 & 44 with the goal of every Engine Co. having a crew of 4 eventually. All four Tower's and Engine 40 always have 4 Firefighters already.
