I put in frequency 142.890 but don't hear anything. Has this been changed or do they not use this freq anymore?
I'm close to Edmundston.

How old is that frequency? It looks like the closest location to you is up in Rimouski, Quebec.

I don't know how old that freq is.

I'm just looking for Brunway SNC Lavalin freq. They do highway maintenance close to Edmundston.

I put in 3 freq I could find for them and not hearing nothing.
Is it out of date or have they switched freq?

What I found here are
142.890
142.530
The other doesn't matter it's too far from my area. I'm in Edmundston, New Brunswick

Where did you do that search?
I'd do it for New Brunswick.

Didn't find any SNC in NB on there. Might be worth trying to Quebec frequencies though.

Nothing for SNC Lavalin. They subcontract to Brun-Way, but nothing for them. Did find some freq on database here but they don't work.
Will try the Quebec freq. Never know, might be the same.

Looking for the SNC Lavalin frequencies. I haven't found it and I haven't been on here for a while. The freq found back in 2020 is not working.

They may have abandoned analog for digital since 2020.

Make a few Custom Search ranges in your scanner.

The first: 140 - 144 MHz , the next 148 - 174 MHz and finally 450 - 470 MHz.
Put the Audio Type to Digital Only (if you have the DMR or NXDN upgrade), take note of what you hear. It will flash the Colour Code or the RAN. Push the ENTER button to lock in the Code or RAN. Use replay to listen to the audio you heard to see if it is what you are looking for.

You can leave it on All and hear analog and flash PL or DPL if they still are analog. DMR and NXDN will be noisy in All or Analog Only.

Lastly, if you see the operators nearby, use Close Call and save your hits.
