software download problems

I just got a new WS1065 scanner from Ebay.Became a paying member here on radioreference to get software to program it,I paid $39,99 for the software here on radioreference.It downloads on my laptop,but it wont open and I also have the KEY numbers that were e-mail to me when I purchased the software.What do I need to do to open it,or can I get a hard disc to download the software that way ?

I believe that the file download for the software is a *.zip file (compressed). You need to extract the contents of the file before it can be installed. Have you done that, and the install still failed, or did you simply download the file and save it, expecting an automatic installation?
