Software for BR330T in the UK

I recieved my Uniden 330T today and was trying out the trial software "uasd" but found that it would not write to my scanner. It states I need a code. When I try to order one it states that they do not ship outside the USA and asks for shipping methods in USA. As this is sent by E-mail I don't understand this?
Do I have to purchase arc software? If so is this easy to use for a novice?

Any help please?

I believe others have had similar issues with the UASD for the 396T. Search the Uniden and/or software forums and see what you come up with. If for some reason you can't get it resolved, the ARC software is extremely easy to use. Easier than the UASD I think...Happy Holidays!

According to Grommert at ARC they were to release the CD-rom version in the third week of this month.
Just left a message for him at the yahoogroup site.
Hopefully it will happen soon.

I have now purchased the Arc software package as a download. It is so easy to use. I don't know how I ever managed without it.
