Hey All,

I've been playing with my new BCD996P2 Scanner. I've logged the following fire tone outs for Solano County. However I am noticing a slight deviation in the Hz of the tones. Could this be individual unit tones? There was a large grass fire about a week back which is where I logged most of these. I sadly was not listening at the time to log the station numbers with the tones and my recorder was not configured correctly to capture them.

I don't know which pairs goes to which station but the stations I did hear were: 29,31,33,51,52,55,81

A : 321.2Hz / B : 349.0Hz

Moved to Bay Area forum.

I think the ever so slight variations are just a product of the decode on the scanner as its not a very precise measurement of the actual tone.

So you can assume that the
A : 321.2Hz / B : 349.0Hz
A : 321.4Hz / B : 349.2Hz
A : 321.5Hz / B : 349.0Hz
A : 321.9Hz / B : 349.3Hz

Are for the same station tone out.

Thanks for the move to the correct forum.

These look like Quick Call 2 sets. As I am new to FTO I'm not sure. I'm sure there is another forum post on this subject ive been too lazy to look up. Sorry if its been beaten dead already. My goal is to build a complete list of Solano County tones in case anyone else is looking. If anyone has a list they are willing to share please let me know.

Ill keep playing with my FTO feature. I let it run during the day while im at work and check it out when I get home.

I think I remember years ago there were some threads about tone outs for the bay area counties and some CalFire stuff, but I think most of that info would be outdated.
