Somehow I doubt this antenna is worth the price... what do you think?

I have not used their antennas, but I have a feeling my handful of Lakeview Hamsticks would perform better. Roll out the appropriate length wire as a counterpoise for whichever Hamstick and keep it elevated using my non-insulated walking stick and start having fun.

Still, for VHF/UHF scanner stuff my Comet CA-2XRSR or NMO version mobile antenna works quite well. Still, I have not tried it without a ground plane. Time to test.
Yes, it does ! I have one, and may buy a second.

So, I have tested most of the SuperAntenna products and I am happy that they perform pretty much as advertised.
Granted, the scanner antenna is a bit of a compromise regarding the ground plane but what antenna isn’t a compromise?
Their other products are all well-made and work well, as far as they are able.
However, they are really rather expensive…I was happy to put them through their paces but I’m not convinced that I would buy any of them for the prices they ask, except perhaps one or two of the accessories.
