I’m traveling to Somerset soon, just looking for some info on the trunking system. Are police and fire on the UHF site or the 700mhz site?

I’m not from that area of the state, but from what others have posted, I believe Police have access to both 5/700, and fire are 500 exclusively. Don’t quote me 100% on that.

700 for Police, UHF for Fire. Enjoy.

There are two cells. 500/700. Fire EMS only on Site 3 (500). LEO can be either or only or BOTH. That is LEO can at anytime appear only 500. Only (700 Site 4) or BOTH 500/700. This is a result of affiliation of LEO subscriber's. For LEO site scanning both (3/4) a must.
