Hello RR Does anyone know why I sometimes hear Somerset fire dispatch on the police frequency? Thank you

If memory serves me correctly, they simultaneously announce fire/EMS calls over both fire and police frequencies, as a police unit typically responds along with fire as well. Basically eliminating the need to broadcast the call twice.
