Dear people; I just called the Sony Company at 1-(800) 222-7669 and asked them about any parts or service avilable for my Sony SW-07 radio receiver. They told me that there was NO parts or service support for this radio but if I sent the radio along with a check for $250.00 they would send me back a compatable radio but not necessarilly a SW-07 they would send a am/fm portable in its place!! If in doubt, call Sony and hear it for yourself!! I believe that the ONLY shortwave radio that Sony is still producing is the SW-7600GR. Any sony radio that is seven (7) old or older there is no tech support, So when it quits pitch it and buy a new one. The way Sony explained it to me was Too Bad So Sad!!
