To All down here on the South Coast.

I was given the following frequencies for Eversource Utilities 451.025, 451.125, 451.250, 451.675

I'm Treating these in the 996P2 as each one is A Signal Channel Trunk Site for each frequency with

Some luck - I'm getting some local trucks on Groups 3, 22 and 23 on 2 of the frequencies.

My Question is this a Trunking system with 4 frequencies with LCN's or are these individual

DMR frequencies. I did try this with the Conventional Setting and the scanner gets stuck on the DMR

data Bursts.

Peter, I am in Hyannis . I program my TRX-1 with the above 4 frequencies separately in Conventional DMR. The two active frequencies are 451.125 and 451.025. The 451.675 seems to be < at least down here> used when out of state crews are around. Can't say I have heard anything on the 451.250.

As Jeff pointed out, those all are Conventional Repeaters [DMR]

There maybe some other local to your area, so maybe search 451-452 and see what you get for
the CC / SL / TG

National Grid is on a Passport TRS, with some 451 and many 454 [Part 22] frequencies.

One Channel Trunk seems to work better than conventional DMR in the Uniden 996P2 for me... The TRX-1 just may be layed out differently and work better for this type of repeater. Could be thats your only choice where the 996P2 gives
you Conventional or 1 Channel Trunk...Just find the 996 to not work great on
Conventional for DMR.

I caught this weekend on 451.250 talk group 100 so when you mentioned out of state crews I need to pay more attention to the conversation.

I just wanted to make sure this was loaded correctly ( 1 channel repeater ) for each instead of a multi channel system.

No Problem - Its all a hobby for most of us.
I got my frequencies from somebody who was holding a portable frequency counter near the eversource truck antenna and his partner was keying different channels.... I got another the other day im trying out 451.200

Kinda like going to an airshow and writing down frequencies you see in the cockpit on a radio plate...

Just a quick little update. Yesterday afternoon (Tue) , I heard testing one the 451.0250 . Just one voice calling out "Testing Testing". It was T/G 1 Slot 1 Color 1. Only lasted about 10 minutes.

I'm finding these guys are using them as real work radio's there is no real
proto call or method as long as the other guy responds its working -Group 1 seems to be south Dispatch group 3 is a cape dispatch and groups 22 and 23 seems to be in the field work talk. need to hear group 100 again to figure out what that is related to.

This is part of the fun of the hobby for me. Just like the Rail Road frequencies.
I know what listed but I'm hearing them on other frequencies too>
