South Plains Electric Cooperative has a multi county UHF IDAS trunked system. Most of it is in the database but I can never receive the sites around Lubbock. Somebody in the Lubbock area with DSD+ may want to confirm if the four sites in the Lubbock area are on the air and submit the necessary information to the database or post it here.

The frequencies to check are listed at South Plains Electric Cooperative (IDAS) Unconfirmed Frequencies - The RadioReference Wiki.

The database listing is at South Plains Electric Cooperative (IDAS) Trunking System, Various, Texas - Scanner Frequencies.

Also somebody may want to check and verify whether or not their 800 MHz LTR system http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=80 is still on the air.

TOM., I cant give you any info on the IDAS system, but the 800 system has been dead the last several years. When I did hear something it appeared it may be coop members (farmers) or leased out to farmers, no electrical business. I liked to listem to SPEC before switcining to IDAS esp during bad weather . I have been tempted to delete the 800 system out of my scanner .Ive got ZERO hits in about the last 2-3 years. I did have the 800 system programmed as LTR.
In fact, communications on trunking systems for private businesses has died off alot. Ive captured around only 30 disticint ids on 2 main systems.Im not sure if the systems have gone to an unmonitorable emmission or cell phone has replaced radios.

Here is a map and list of electriccoops in Texas
