What talkgroup was not encrypted? Were you able to hear voice and conversations or it just wasn’t showing encryption on your decoder?
After further monitoring, it looks like the TG was encrypted. Or maybe partly encrypted. It wasnt showing encrypted on DSD+. But I have no audio from that TG and several encrypted log hits. My signal from my monitoring location is very good, so I don't believe it was a bad decode.

Just submitted Site 25 for McGregor Texas Rocket testing facility - like Bastrop, the control channel is 6.25khz off from the license - don't know if that's intentional or not.

I will program here in Waco using ID search/scan, whatever. Thanks.

Space-X was loaded today with ID search activated. I don't know if the signals will reach to Waco. Thus far, zip.

The entire system is AES encrypted from what others have seen, please do advise the talkgroup ID if you hear anything in the clear

Keep in mind, when I picked up the system, I was parked just outside the facility gate and as I was on 84 heading back towards Waco the system dropped out not far outside of McGregor on my mobile rig (which I admit doesn't have the greatest of antennas to begin with, but it works for my use) - so short of a very big high gain base antenna, your chances of picking it up in Waco is slim.

Unfortunately, with my new day job I don't have many opportunities to go down there during the week (it's a 2 1/2 hour drive each way for me from Grayson County) and spend the time needed to really monitor the system to identify additional frequencies and talkgroups (even if I can't hear them, the talkgroups still get logged on the mobile rig).

Don't get me started on the Starlink facility in Bastrop - that's 4 hours each way. I'm hoping the day job will send me to Austin later this summer for a couple of days on a project in our office there - if that happens, I'll try and make a side trip to Bastrop.

I have driven that Godforsaken route to the prison facility in GV from 1998 to 2009. McGregor gives me hives when I drive through, hate that town. I have lost count of how many times my license plates were run passing through. Most of the time, there were no moving violations.

I also used to travel down SH 317 to a rescue farm near Lake Belton.

I still live in Waco & have a P.O. Box in Moody. I keep it because it is the official address for my professional mail.

Saying "No" to some offenders can get a bit problematic. Hence, I made quite a few enemies in there. If I were to put the home address, an offender could pay me a visit.

I didn't notice if this system is low power. However, I will go that way on occasion. I also live in the Woodway area.
