Spalding County New System

I live in Spalding Co. and have recently stopped getting Fire 154.385 on my Pro 528. I think they are going to trunking but was wondering if anyone knows what manufacturer and type of system they are using. So I will know what to get for an upgrade scanner.

Looks like this system has been up for a while. They have some licenses for 800 MHz trunking but there isn't a trunked system listed in the RR database for Spalding. The Griffin Daily News has quite a few stories on it. Here's one:

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that forum thread. I had already read all of the newspaper articles, being I live in the county. It has been confirmed that the Fire department is using the setup, thats why I found it odd that the freqs weren't listed on here. I hear that the system is a Harris Company/not to reliable for the high money. The other agencies don't feel comfortable with it yet. I got a list of all of the freqs, just haven't been able to try yet until I get a digital scanner. I just didnt know if they were on P25, that thread confirmed that much. So I guess it will be the Pro 106 in the very near future. Thanks again and if anyone else has any info on the county please share. So the pro 106 should pick that system up, right??

yes griffin ga has gone to the 800 system

Griffin/Spaulding has also undergone rebanding. I updated the new frequencies yesterday.
