I hadn't heard the Sacramento approach story before, but I've heard and read the "speed check" story several times. Still fun to hear! One of my favorites is a pilot's story about the slowest he ever flew: The SR-71 Blackbird's Most Spectacular Flyover Was Also Its Slowest.
