Sound Resource Solutions Chemical Plant Explosion, 731 FM 1127, Shepard, TX. There has been multiple explosions at the plant, unknown number of injuries, Polk Co. FD, San Jacinto Co. FD, and several others on scene. Hwy 59 shutdown, calls for evacuation of area schools. Smoke plume headed northeast towards Livingston. More explosions as I write this. Calling for everyone to turn off HVAC systems.
24 inch natural gas line runs underneath the property, a 1000 gal propane tank on the property. Calling for 1/2 mile stay back perimeter around site. Polk and San Jacinto Counties Emergency Management activated.
