SSTV still alive? (helpful apps too)

Is SSTV still alive?

I got into SSTV a few months back after seeing phone apps that are awesome!

SSTV Encoder:
Simply hold your phone up to the radio and play the data while keying up!
Different modes to pick from too!

Robot 36:
Simply hold your phone up to the speaker to decode the image!

I send out SSTV in the tri-state area (NJ, NY, CT) and have never gotten a response. (2 meter band)

I also monitor the SSTV freqs and other than the International Space Station on 145.800MHz I've never heard any transmissions.

Anybody still into SSTV or am I too late?

14230 USB in the 20 meter band last night was active last night, I always listen to that frequency for SSTV.

A lot of the pirates in the band of frequencies between 6 and 7 MHz use SSTV to identify and or sign off
