anyone know the frequency/frequencies for saint barnabas medical center security in livingston nj ?. i did an extensive search and cannot find it. thanks for any help.

St. Barnabas Frequencies according to FCC database
St. Barnabas Security is also licensed for 461.750. Other frequencies include: 461.175 (Engineering Dept), 464.850 (Central Transport Dept.), 464.950 (MICU lower power), and 462.875 (I believe licensed to their ambulance vehicles, low power). 451.925, 463.900, and 463.300 are also licensed to the hospital, however did not have a clear reference in the FCC database as to what they are used for. All of this info WAS in the FCC database.
St. Barnabas Security is also licensed for 461.750. Is St. Barnabas using frequencies illegally??
The frequencies that I posted earlier are the ONLY ones they are legally licensed for St. Barnabas according to the FCC database (unlesss I accidentally missed one). Therefore, is St. Barnabas illegally using 464.925 and 464.150. I don't have time to look both of them up now. Will have more time to investigate later. I did have the chance to monitor the frequencies I posted earlier and this is what I was hearing from eastern Union County area:
463.300 - School Bus somewhere in NYC along with some towing company also in NYC
463.900 - This is actually Linden PD ch. 2
461.175 - sounds like some foreign taxi company and a bunch of other businesses stepping on each other, almost impossible to monitor without a PL capable scanner
451.925 - Union Taxi Inc., Union NJ
BTW, if anyone has additional info on what I may be hearing on 463.3 and 461.175 feel free to post.

i'm not debating what you posted.i did go to the cityfreq.site before i took the trip.i overlooked going to the fcc database until i got home yesterday.i'm not saying definetly that these fq's are from sbmc.i did say "close called" in the area of sbmc.except for the paging frequency that was very active and did contain medical related page's,the other fq's of possible security op's and maintenance were basically pretty quiet.

Oh no, I'm not debating what you posted either. : ) I am just curious as to why St. Barnabas is using frequencies that they are not licensed to transmit on? For example, the only hospital in NJ that is licensed for 464.925 is Englewood Hospital in Bergen County; And they are only allowed to use 5 watts of power.

I think he's just posting close call hits in the area so anything in NYC can be eliminated right off the bat!! FYI 464.925 with DPL's of 411 and 114 are M ercedes Benz in Montvale. See why you need scanners with PL/DPL capabilities?? How do you know 464.1500 is St Barnabas?? There are literally 10 different companies on that frequencies. The towing companies rent radios from companies that own all these repeaters. BTW Thanks for the comments about the site, I have a lot of people sending in information!!

N2ZGE: to your hang-up on St. Barnabus using the frequencies illegally, just because they aren't licensed for the frequency does not mean that their use of it is illegal. Perhaps they are operating under another licensee's authorization (similar to SMRS, which you recently learned about), or perhaps their type of operations don't require licensure. Are you knowledgable enough of the St. Barnabus operations and the FCC regulations to make this determination?

obsorbed quit a few private hospitals into its medical network of hospitals. They could be using a license in the name of a previously owned private hospital. There are many possibilities as to why that could happen.....

I think N2ZGE should stop posting because it's obvious he doesn 't know what the hell he's talking about. I am sick and tired of a select few doing everyone's homework for them. While I understand you're trying to indentify frequencies you have to understand,N2ZGE, you have to USE the databases to help identify, do some of your own research. People want information spoonfeed to them all the time and that isn't going to happen. You can't just say I was walking down the street in Newark and heard this frequency aanyone know who it is and except an immedioate response, especially without a PL. I can sit here all day and do that. I could list hundreds of business frequencies I hear every day from my house. I have no idea if they are in Bergen, Rockland, Passaic Counties or even in the city!
