Hello all, I've been using a Whistler 1088 to scan City of St. Louis talk groups since 2017. On April 4/5, 2020, I stopped picking up City of STL Fire/EMS traffic; however, I'm still able to receive other programmed talk groups. The Broadcastify feed was also "offline" on April 5, which I thought was unusual. I reloaded my talk groups, but still am not picking up STL Fire/EMS. The Broadcastify feed is back up and I can hear Fire/EMS traffic on it, but my scanner is not picking it up. Nothing has changed about my scanner, antenna, location, etc. I've looked through Radio Reference freqs for City of STL, but I'm not able to find any notes for updates. I've also searched the forum, but can't find any mentions about changes. Anybody have any idea what might have changed or where I might look to learn more?

Does anyone know if St Louis City Fire and EMS has switched to Phase 2 as i am no longer receiving them on my Whistler 1065.
They were still Phase 1 when I last monitored them about two weeks ago.

Make sure you have the three alternate CCs entered in as they switched the active CC to one of the alternates about six months or so ago and it never went back to the one shown as the primary CC in the DB.

Please attach your configuration file so that I can check it for problems.

Please attach your file also. There must be a common problem.

I'm on a Mac; not compatible w/Whistler. Will continue looking for a way to do this.

Whistler 1088 uses EZScan; enter ZIP code and it loads everything from pre-programmed mini-sd card. Once loaded, categories have generic names, like "police," "fire," "EMS," etc. Drilling down, I'm able to find categories with the same names as those on the RR MOSWIN page, but I'm not able to see if freqs match or not.

I am. Was hoping there is a way to input freqs/talk groups manually, since my Mac is not compatible w/EZScan. Maybe add the updated Fire/EMS freqs/talk group as a seperate list. Won't be the worst thing if I end up learning how to program a scanner out of all this. Any direction you can point me in would be helpful.

I would make sure that the red control channel and blue alternate frequencies are entered for the St Louis Co Urban North and St Louis Co Urban South sites. There are a total of 4 frequencies for each site. Here is the link for the SLATER system:
Wrong system, SLATER is a county system. The OP is after the City system which is a part of the Statewide MOSWIN system.
Specifically, Site 2-001 or St Louis City North at:
The CC the site has been using for the last six months or greater is 859.4375 which appears to now be the Primary control channel for this site.
Some city Fire/EMS can also be heard on site 2-005 on the same system but the traffic may be limited more to the units working the south part of the city. Site 2-005 is currently using 773.78125 for its control channel.

Fire/EMS traffic seems to be less volume lately but it sill exists. I'm hearing fire and ems right now on a G5 on Site 2-001.

City fire and EMS seem to be working fine here in the city.

You are correct that some fire signals are not heard from the south site in the city. Site 205 seems to not cover the command channels for some reason.

I would double check your control channels and make sure you have the alternate channels programmed too.

Thanks everybody for replies. Bear with me, as I'm new to this. To clarify:

Site 2-001 is St. Louis City North; 859.4375 is current control channel (per kruser); blues are alternate controls.

Site 2-005 is St. Louis City South; 773.78125 is current control channel (per kruser); blues are alt control.

Do I enter the list of freqs from Sites 001 and 005 individually, or do I enter some sort of group ID?

When I monitor 859.4375, traffic is choppy, as if trunked or skipping. Does changing the main control channel correct this?
I'm hearing fire and ems right now on a G5 on Site 2-001.
Help me understand what G5 means. By Site 2-001, you mean the STL N list of freqs, I take it.
Site 205 seems to not cover the command channels
Help me understand what you mean by this.

I am learning more about my particular scanner (Whistler 1088) to know where to go to change/add control channels, but if anyone has suggestions, that would be appreciated.

Thanks again to everybody pitching in to help get me back up and running.
