I'm showing 3 low band frequencies and 1 Vhf for Tolland County Fire:

Does anybody know what frequency Stafford FD is toned out on, and what frequency they talk to Dispatch on?

Stafford and West Stafford are dispatched by the Tolland County Mutual Aid Service, aka Station TN. Go to the Tolland County database page and all the information is there.

I did. I just wanted to confirm what actual freq Stafford FD was toned out on, and that freq was used for response.

All TN agencies, IIRC with the exception of East Windsor, are dispatched on 153.125. Stafford and West Stafford respond on 33.86, which has a cross-band patch on all 3 of the North Zone UHF repeaters. The Somers Soapstone repeater had good coverage. It is also patched to CLMRN TG 8522.

You will want to listen for X44 or X45 call signs, such as ET/Tanker/etc-144, etc.

153.125 is the initial dispatch from TN only, no mobiles or portables transmit on that channel.

AND if you are in the vicinity of Vernon (and I mean a wide vicinity, because it also has great coverage), let's not forget about their 155.2275 simulcast of 153.125. The one thing I love about it is every transmission is equal in power, unlike 153.125 which depends on where they are transmitting from within the county. Also, the fact that it simulcasts QV Windam county dispatch as well.

Is it easier to just monitor the UHF TN repeater links on the CMLRN talkgroups?
Trying to just carry the Unication 700/800/UHF G5 with me when I am in that area.
