State Police Talkgroups

Does anyone understand what posts or dispatch centers belong to which talkgroups...I hear what sounds like pontiac patrols on D2 East..In other words what are the boundaries for North, South ect.....

D2 SOUTH - POSTS 25/26/28
D2 WEST - POST 29
D2 NORTH - POST 21/21 SAT.
D2 EAST - POST 24

As for boundries they have recently changed a little.

24 Covers all of St. Clair County, and all of northern Macomb to Hall (M59) then the 24 Adam Car covers down I94 to Harper/Little Mack.

once in a while, D2 WEST and D2 SOUTH converge on 1 TG. Also, D2 EAST and D2 NORTH may be on 1 TG. This usually happens at night, because ive heard 21 cars on tg 2009 and 29 cars on tg 2008.

I've noticed patches on those TG's at times for short periods.

That occurs when a dispatcher goes on break or when they are short handed at a console they will patch them together.

Most of the time you will hear D2N and D2E patched together.
