More of an admin question. Just curious on what qualifies a system to be included in the Areawide Trunking Systems area at the bottom of the Oklahoma State page. Specifically, why isn't the OKWIN system on it? Other states show theirs, just curious why we don't. It shows KAMO and OMACS, why not others?

OKWIN is not listed as a statewide system, that would be the reason it is not showing up in every county or on the Oklahoma state page. It is only listed in the counties as pictured below. If it is truly a statewide system (with confirmed sites and users in every county) then you can submit this info so the local admin can update the listing.

There doesn't necessarily need to be a physical transmitter site in every county, but the system must provide true statewide coverage to at least parts of every county. Often transmitter sites are placed near county borders such that a county may not contain any sites of its own, but would still be well covered.

Official policy:

Trunked systems shall be assigned to the union of all counties for which they are actually intended to provide coverage in addition to any other counties containing transmitter sites. Only use the “Statewide” special county setting for systems that truly cover all counties in a state. While new systems are being built out, assign them only to the counties actually confirmed to be covered by the system.
