This isn't exactly new news (its been in the TSICP for a few years now) but thought I would put this out here for anyone that has been tracking radio IDs at least at the COG/agency/city/county level. I just started a new TGID search on GATRRS 2 weeks ago and have found a number of new TGIDs that are not in the RR database and have found that you can pretty quickly identify at least who is using the new TGID based on the UID/Radio Unit IDs that appear. So, it goes that knowing what UIDs are associated with each agency helps in that endeavor...
Per the TSICP, the purpose of the Plan is to reduce duplication of IDs across the state so that each P25 subscriber and mobile ID has a unique ID and it can be used statewide.
The P25 radio ID (aka UID) range is 00000000 - 16077700 and the state has broken the top level allocations down at the million level.
The top level ID allocations are as follows:
0M 0000000 - 0999999 Legacy; used by systems prior to this plan, range is uncoordinated and dups are li
1M 1000000 - 1999999 HGAC, TxWARN; Harris County, Harris-Galveston Area; range is fully allocated
2M 2000000 - 2999999 TxWARN, HGAC, BVCOG/BVWACS, ETMC, MTA; Brazos Valley, East Texas
3M 3000000 - 3999999 DETCOG, ETCOG, SETRPC; East/Southeast Texas
4M 4000000 - 4999999 Unallocated
5M 5000000 - 5999999 TxDPS, State, Tribal and Federal Agencies
6M 6000000 - 6999999 AACOG, CBCCOG; San Antonio, Coastal Bend w/ overlap on LCRA
7M 7000000 - 7999999 ATCOG, NCTCOG, CONNCT, TEXOMA, FWRRS; DFW, North Central Texas, Ark-Tex and Texoma
8M 8000000 - 8999999 LRGVDC, LCRA; Lower Rio Grande Valley
9M 9000000 - 9999999 PBRPC, RGCG; Rio Grande, Permian Basin
10M 10000000 -10999999 GATRRS, GCRPC, CAPCOG, CTCOG, HOTCOG; Austin/Central Texas, Heart of TX, Golden Cresent
11M 11000000 -11999999 STDC, MRGDC, GATRRS; South Texas, Middle Rio Grande
12M 12000000 -12999999 CVCOG, WTCOG, NORTEX; Concho Valley, North Texas, West Central Texas
13M 13000000 -13999999 Reserved for system level temporary usage (ISSI)
14M 14000000 -14999999 PRPC, SPAG; Panhandle, South Plains
15M 15000000 -15999999 Unallocated
16M 16000000 -16077700 Unallocated
So, one question i have for everyone that read this far: is there already a published list or somewhere (Google spreadsheet or wiki perhaps) where everyone may have already been tracking ID allocations beyond this first level?
