Hi Everyone,
Been too busy to chime in much lately.
Saw the recent threads about what's ENC and not. Talked to my source and updated a number of groups INTENDED mode of operation.

I say intended beacuse some users are radio savvy enough to change the mode from what the TG defaults to...so I am told.

Anyhow,
Haven't searched for any new TG's lately.
Anyone want to have a get together in a central location in the next month or so?

Dave

The reason you will sometimes hear encryption on non-encrypted channels is that when cars switch to strapped secure channels (N/K/S or Troop talk channels, they use their handi-talkies to switch to these channels, leaving their mobile units on the dispatch channel, and forget to turn it off. Sometimes after dispatch transmits on Secure they also neglect to turn it off.
