Statewide trunking system

I have noticed a lot of states putting up statewide multi agency use systems and was woundering if anyone has heard of anything in KY that may be in the future. It seems to be a smart ideal to have communications with your agency and others state wide on the same system. I dont know much about trunking so I may be wrong and it be horrible ideal but portable communication anywhere in ky seems nice. And not having to have 3 diffrent band radios in a truck/car just to communicate with others seems like it would work better

With all due respect, "portable communication anywhere in Ky" is a pipe dream, unless money starts falling from the sky.
