The STC might have changed their freq. today. They were busy yesterday, but today heard nothing. Not sure how to find out what the new freq would be or they have switch to ENC.

Nothing heard today on either freq's.

I'm not totally sure if STC went ENC, but I heard them all week, but not today. So, wondering if they have changed their freq's.

I've seen some freq. for STC on TAFL, so I entered them. Hopefully that will work, but not to sure if they went ENC or change their freq's.

It's the weekend and most likely the buses are parked. Wait until Monday. Listen to what you entered in your scanner and tell us what you found after Monday.

The buses aren't running today, but tomorrow will report back if I hear anything on the freq. But if I recall, those freq I found were the the inputs for the talkgroups that I heard them on before. So may not work, but will give it a try tomorrow.

Talkgroups don't have inputs.
It is NXDN system but I’m not sure if the Chanel’s as I found some on TAFL but will listen tomorrow to see if it’s on that I am thinking they change there Freq to another frequency

What model scanner do you have?
Also how are you programming it, by hand, or using software, and if so, what software?

I programed it myself with the 152.6600 etc and I selected the RAN numbers.
Well, I'm still not sure what model scanner you have. If it's a BCD435HP or BCD536HP, I can't be of too much help; I have a BCD325P2 myself, and it operates a little different from the 436 and 536 models.

If you have a 325P2 or a 996P2, the easiest and quickest way for the STC repeaters, would be to just create a new conventional system, create a new group in that system, and add the three frequencies/channels, making sure to set the audio type to "digital only" - that's how I have them set up, and it works just fine. For anything more complicated, like the DMR or P25 trunking systems, you definitely can't program them this way, however the STC repeaters are very simple.

If you have a 436HP or 536HP, I'm not entirely sure and hopefully someone else can respond.

Also, I'm not sure if you've seen it or not, but this website has a bunch of "easier to read" manuals or various scanner models: Mark's Scanners

Ok, I can do that but you can make it a little easy for me to do? then I can follow your instructions :)
I have the BCD325P2

So Chris, just to make sure I think I know what to do but do I just use a conventional system and not NXDN system ? :)

I have the BCD325P2

So, I click new system and I see the following options NXDN, P25, DMR, and Conventional. So do I click Conventional and not the NXDN ?
Ok, so to program these three repeaters as a conventional system, you want to go
Menu - Program system - New system - Conventional - push E to confirm - make a note of the system name at the top of the screen - Edit group - New group - Edit channel - New channel - type the first repeater frequency you want 152.66 and push E - Set audio type - Digital only - for code option set Search - hit the Menu button to go back one screen, which should bring you to the list of frequencies you've added - hit New channel again and repeat the above steps to add the second frequency you want (for example 163.005 is the Musquodoboit Harbour repeater).

That will create a conventional system, with one group, containing two frequencies. Hit Scan to exit out of everything and resume scanning.

To make it easier on yourself, I recommend renaming the system, group and frequencies/channels. I also recommend adding a system quick keys to your different systems you've programmed so that you can turn them on and off while scanning.

I strongly recommend having a look through those easier to read manuals, for tips on programming systems, naming systems, and quick keys.
I also recommend you consider using software to program your scanner; Freescan is free and relatively easy to use, and it's a heck of a lot better than trying to do everything through the keypad on the scanner.
These scanners are complicated and the learning curve is steep..
