Is it just me, or is Stephen Hawking moonlighting as a dispatcher on some of the digital systems? I'm pretty new to digital systems, but some of the voice does sound odd.

You've got to be kidding. Poor choice of examples.

Stephen Hawking doesn't take himself that seriously. If he doesn't mind appearing on a comedy (Big Bang Theory) as himself complete with synthesised voice, then I'm fairly certain he wouldn't mind my using him as an example.

It's unfortunate you took offense, but I doubt he would care.

Understood, but to the point, I received it on my BCD536HP and I would have liked to have known if it was a universal issue with all digital transmission types or if it only comes across that way in my particular radio. Granted it was intended to be humorous, but you apparently misunderstood that there was a viable question in there and it could very well have been 536-specific. As it is, I suppose I won't ever know.

I will attempt to be less frivolous if there is a next time.

Apparently, I have stepped on more than one toe.

Mea culpa.
