I'd like to convert a feed I currently host to stereo. One side being P25 Fire / EMS trunking (current feed). The other being VHF USFS for the same geographic area. I can handle my end and get two audio sources to scannercast but I'm not sure what needs to be approved/changed on the Broadcastify end.

You do not need to apply for a second feed as a stereo feed is one feed with two radios:
Please see here for info: Setting up your Broadcasting Station

If you are simply dividing up your existing feed content to Left & Right, all you need do is follow the above.

If you are adding other agencies to the feed that you will need to submit a help request from the HELP tab of your feed page to ask us to mod your description etc.

I tried that and it worked but the audio quality drastically dropped. I was advised I'm only approved for a single feed.

Yes you have one feed. That is all you need. As I said a feed can be mono with one radio or stereo with two radios (Left & Right).

We have many stereo feeds. I have two.

Set feed to 32kbs bitrate for a stereo feed.
