1050- Colt flt (A-10Cs 104th FS MD ANG MTN) w/ZNY Harrisburg (270.3). Also w/Kiowa Range (233.45) & discrete (293.3). Wardog 1 working as OA-10C.

1053- Devils out in W107/108 on 298.6 & 339.725. Looks like DeeCee 31 (KC-135R # 57-1487 756th ARS) is heading out to W107/108 as well.

I use the Air Omni and works decent but am going back soon to a vertical beam yagi on rotator
again like I had years ago.. That was the all time best.
Also use the DPD ADSB antenna and works fine.

What kind of beam did you have up? Another group I follow one of the guys has the Create CLP-5130 model and has great results with it on milair stuff.

The final F-16s that were deployed to the Gulf returned to Shaw AFB this afternoon as MAZDA 25/26
with BLUE 75 (86-0034) going into McGuire AFB. They were working Washington center on 281.450
and 257.700 around 1550/1600z, did anyone pick up their air-to-air frequency ?
Rene,

I had a couple hits on 297.75 here. Weak, barely readable comms. I was wondering who it may have been on the Coronet flight. I bet this was your BLUE/MAZDA flight. They must have come in on the Southern fringes of my reception. Time logged was 1531-1538z. Hope this helps.

Yeah Log periodics are nice beams but on the heavy side and horizontally polarized.
Was thinking a 13 element type vertical polarized beam that can double with VHF/UHF Ham as well.
A work in progress :)

0910- Scan 05 (CRJ-7 N805X NGTF) on discrete (320.45) asking Scan 04 (not heard) if he's contacted Echo Control or Giantkiller.
ADS-B showing both acft in the Atlantic Test Track off the MD/DE coast.

0945- Wild Flt (4 DC ANG F-16s ) off ADW (348.725) then ops check on discrete (238.175). Check in w/ZDC Woodstown (363.0).

0955- Wild 1 flt w/Atlantic Test Track (320.45) making sure that the controller knows that the trfc he's seeing is not Wild flt. Scan 05 advisies Wild flt that they are the trfc the controller is seeing.

1000- PAAF 043 (Pakistani AF C-130 # 4177) depart BWI heading east. Passed right over my house but overcast blocked my view.

1000- Coast Guard 2007 (HC-130J #2007) up from CGAS Elizabeth City working off the NJ coast a low alt. Probably some sort of SAR operation.

1017- Looks like someone in the area is using 323.8 as A-A. Can't be sure who since had MD ANG A-10Cs & 121st F-16s working today.
323.8 is usually used by the TACAMO/ABNCP acft to broadcast EAMs.

1020- Air Force 2 (C-32 # 98-0002 ADFEB8 1st AS) off ADW heading northwest. Working ZOB Indian Head (132.125). Maybe VPOTUS going to Indiana?

VPOTUS is out and about, might it be related to that?

Had a friend tell me he heard HAWK 21 (x2) using 323.800 just now; possible B-1s heading west over AL/MS area.
