1520- Raven flt (A-10Cs 104th FS MD ANG MTN) landing at MTN (290.475 & 121.3). 290.475 ident by approach as button #6
I've noticed that for the last several weeks that they are using the VHF 121.3 tower freq (ident by approach as button #3) instead of the UHF freq 254.425.

1525- Axeman flt working Raven Ops (275.7) w/acft status reports. Also on discrete (271.4). Land at MTN

1542- Wardog flt land at MTN.

In my notes I also had listed for 104th FS

79-0170
80-0152
82-0177
82-0661

Not sure where I got this info, but the rest of my list correlates with what you posted. My notes say info is dated 2014.

Those are all 163rd FS in Indiana. 82-0177 should be 80-0177.

I didn't know about this until today! ☹ There's a bunch of videos and photos on Facebook already. Here's a YouTube video I just found from a local TV station. Looks like raw video. Fast forward to the 6:30 mark to see it land. I need to get up there to see this!!

Yeah was having my early morning 4:30am coffee before work today Ed when I saw heads up from
Euro post so looked her up on flight Tracker.. Neat appch there over the outer marker runway lights in your vid.
Obvious judging from crowd size of aviation photogs at Bangor in your vid the word had gotten out :)
Says on commercial aviation mission.. Maybe Anchorage next?
Maybe departure/Destination will show soon here..

Thanks Mark. It was all over the TV news even down here in the Southern part of the state. They were estimating a crowd of about 1,000! That's crazy! No one has a definite word on where it's off to next or when it's taking off. RUMOR mill says tomorrow. I might take the drive up to see it.

I see the SPYDER (AE5622) B350 up again today doing square turns so far.

I see Langley has reactivated the 1st MUNS for the F-22's.

Haven't seen any Hurricane evac news from Langley when last year for Dorian they
evacuated to Ohio.

The final two VMA-214 Harriers that were deployed to the Gulf should be arriving at Cherry Point later today.
They departed with BLUE 82 (83-0077) from Lajes at 1605z and their ETA for DOVEY is 2140z.

Apparently only the KC-10 departed as BLUE 61 back to Travis AFB. Harriers should be departing tomorrow (Sunday) at 1200z.

The Bangor news sites I've looked at say the AN-225 should be departing Sunday for Glasgow, Scotland.
Thanks freqhopping. BigJetTV will be broadcasting live from Scotland tomorrow for it's arrival. Due in at 1430 their time. Looks like an early morning departure for the 225 from Bangor.

Many videos and pictures are now on the net. I find this video pretty interesting. It's from take off to landing and taxiing at Bangor. Wish I could speak Russian! Could only understand the Bangor ATC guys.

Speaking of big Dover AFB broke ground on new large hangar that will fully enclose a C-5M.

ED

Thanks for sharing. Got to practice my Russian.

Lots of pre-flight & landing stuff but a couple of interesting things:

1- Rotation speed on take off was 232 MPh

2. Ground control at take off location spoke accented English.

3. Landing speed was 230 MPh

The female voice on landing is some sort of automated altitude notification system.

Four Israeli F-35s were delivered from Fort Worth to Lajes last Friday as RETRO 51-54.
They were working Boston center with BLUE 02 (63-7992) coordinating their break-up near Albany.
Here is a short soundclip: RETRO 51

They were supposed to depart this morning from Lajes to Nevatim AFB, but it looks like they are 24h delayed.

Watched live vid of landing.. Just 40 tons of fuel upload at Prestwick then
off to France in 2 hours.. A Qatari C-17 parked nearby looked tiny..

Next up later today splashdown of NASA Space X capsule in Gulf of Mexico off Florida Panhandle 2:48PM local here.
First manned splashdown in 45 years aka 1975 :)
