Here is all the ATC comms I could find off LiveATC from CLEAN 63 - 62 - 61 with the TABOR F-15s. Good Center coverage at that time in the morning, I think I got all Center controller transmissions right to the handoff to Gander Radio before the crossing.

TABOR 17 the airspare rtb SJ .. Interesting you hear ground/ATC VHF but not the simulcast UHF side
with the Tabors except hear TABOR 17 up North but he may have switched to VHF for one Center handoff.
Six down 12 more Tabors to come :) Nice work!
Surprised that CLEAN 71 KC-10 went to the UK along with the other two tankers 61,62.
Figured that one was for tomorrow..

SAM 432 99-0003 off Shannon Ireland 1420 our time.. Good time for the Sec of State
to get back here..
SAM 432 finally showing off New England westbound speed only 410 knots.
Must be bucking some jetstream headwinds as sure took long time from Shannon going on 6 hours now
and still not near Andrews. Crew prob trying to give him a smoother ride.

Yeah Ron WALDO KC-135 is like IROC C-17 McGuire callsign.
Seem to pop up on the long weekends. Guess McGuire Reserve unit travelling callsigns.

2017 local RCH 102 C-17 07-7173 just off Dover calling Norfolk ATOC on 349.500

2020z SAM 432 finally turned a bit Southwest but dropped speed even lower to 375 knots.
Must be real bumpy up there tonight westbound.. Couple Civy airline types in his trail also doing
slow at 400 knots or less.

81,82 are on deck in BGR. Haven't seen an 83 staged to WRI yet, maybe a local ?

Here's the ATC comms for 73-72-71 with TABOR 21 (TABOR 27 RTB).

CLEAN 83 63-8003 from McGuire 108Wg/141ARS off this morning southbound 4am local
then back North 0440 am local.. I slept in today so missed them.
That ZDC controller in tape beginning seemed to have a lot of experience setting up MARSA's
Gave them lots of options.

Here's all the ATC comms all the way to Gander Radio.

I noticed in all 3 Coronets that the #7 fighter returned to GSB after the flight switched to the second tanker. Is this some sort of standard procedure ? Keep a spare fighter available until the crossing ? I've noticed they do this with Coronet West missions as well.

They usually have airspare even with B-52,B-2 types if available. Sometimes no airspare so go with what they got.
Normal procedure..
