Here is all the ATC comms I could find off LiveATC from CLEAN 63 - 62 - 61 with the TABOR F-15s. Good Center coverage at that time in the morning, I think I got all Center controller transmissions right to the handoff to Gander Radio before the crossing.

Surprised that CLEAN 71 KC-10 went to the UK along with the other two tankers 61,62.

They usually have airspare even with B-52,B-2 types if available. Sometimes no airspare so go with what they got.Here's all the ATC comms all the way to Gander Radio.
I noticed in all 3 Coronets that the #7 fighter returned to GSB after the flight switched to the second tanker. Is this some sort of standard procedure ? Keep a spare fighter available until the crossing ? I've noticed they do this with Coronet West missions as well.
