Obviously this isn't Mid-Atlantic but I thought I would post it here because you guys are knowledgeable --

Think this is accurate or some kind of electronics error? ----

Wow that's pretty wild! They're not even attempting to hide by spoofing or appearing as Bogey with one of those ~2C06DA or similar ID's and appear as a jet, like I see in Kentucky all the time. Usually the Bogeys around here are .Mil helos but sometimes they are fighters and sometimes civi planes.

Probably that is not a good area to try spoofing or anything else. Someone might shoot first and ask questions later.

Saw an aircraft being refueled over KY last week being spoofed as an airliner from another country, they also conducted the refueling off any track AND were A/A on a civi frequency used for a/a chatting, I was AMAZED. I won't mention what the real AC was. :) ;)

Team McGuire is up with TEAM 62,63 A/A 268.025.

I was trying to get TEAM 63 working that airspace northeast of Cherry Point on the LiveATC ILM feed that covers the ZDC sector (124.025) that airspace is in, but nothing heard.

I'm guessing the previous ZDC sector (133.825, not covered) is handing them off to a tactical frequency used in that area ? I did hear ZDC (124.025) advising an aircraft doing survey work in the same area that military airspace would be active above them from FL250 to FL290.

This airspace is not marked on the civilian charts as an MOA or restricted area, not shown as a published AR route, and does not show up active on the FAA SUA website. Anyone have any more info. Name ? Frequencies used ? Controlling agency ? What they are usually doing in there ? That racetrack pattern seems to be a standard used quite often by various tankers (WRI, ADW, IAG, PIT, MCF).
