17:45 local 363.800 Mhz Had low-level 'fighter roar' overhead at 15 miles north of PHL. No visual or ID heard (didn't catch) but altitude changes reported. Altitude dropping and weakened audio heard.

I'm not showing anything for this frequency although I have it programmed. PHL ATC ?

Any ideas who this was ? Going into PHL ?

Similar when staging for flyover at Eagles game but only sounded like one A/C

See previous above TREND 31 posts.. Yes 363.800 is McGuire appch.
Rare to hear those Philly UHF appch freqs anymore. Were more popular back when Willow Grove NAS
was active :)

Thanks guys !

Speaking of PHL UHF appch (291.7). A few months back, had them @ 5x5 for a brief period. Took me a bit to figure out what I was hearing. First and only time ever to catch them here. Odd 'ducting' that day.

If memory serves me correct 291.700 is the UHF side of 123.800 which is the freq for coverage in the North Philadelphia Airport area (Bucks County and adjacent areas into New Jersey where McGuire is located. From memory aircraft going into McGuire on VHF would go from NY Center to 128.4 or 123.8 then onto McGuire radar. I would have to monitor my remote site in PA to verify what pairs are in use now.

So depenidng on your location you might hear them anytime the UHF side is active.

Does anyone have a URL for the map of the DUKE MOA? I'd like to try and incorporate the coordinates in the map used in Virtual Radar Server software. Anybody else try doing this?

I am not sure if this is helpfull, no URL for the MOA but this is the best I could find .....

Duke MOA, PA.
Boundaries. Beginning at lat. 42°02'40"N., long. 78°28'59"W.; to lat. 41°54'30"N., long.
77°24'19"W.; to lat. 41°19'55"N., long. 77°47'53"W.; to lat. 41°23'00"N., long. 78°36'39"W.; to the point of beginning.

Been out of the loop for a while, but slowly getting back into Coronet monitoring again.
Best wishes from the Netherlands.

You can download the PDF here and outline map of Duke MOA is in there. From 2012 but prob still accurate enough
to where you can go to maybe Google Earth and get actual coordinates.

Also bookmark FAA Duke MOA site to see any reservations going on there.

Report has these Trends as 120th FS Colorado ANG F-16's possibly going to Norway.
Why they are down here and not up at Bangor Maine seems odd.. Maybe wx related.
They usually deploy at least 12 aircraft on past deployments.. See if any more Trends show up.

2x RAF Voyagers and 10x Spanish EF2000s due into DOV today from Lajes. Hearing the GAF Tanker Support went TECH and the departure slipped to tomorrow.

Keep an eye out for Omega 10 KC-10 N974VV (AD9470) as dragged a few show Hornets VAMPIRE 71-73 from Finland to Lajes
the other day..

Looks like Vampires got dragged to Bangor today.. Thought might be a Pax River stop..
Guess Omega may take them back to VX-9 at China Lake instead. Will keep ear out for any Vampires
in case one or more come South.
Edit: Now Norfolk NAS has been added to above this afternoon arrival 2:15PM local.

I had flight of 3 come through the area around noon on ZNY but was in another room. Didn't hear the ID or see the freq.

Can the Vampires be tracked?
No tracking Vampires.. Got some Spanish accent A/A 255.150 and Dover appch 132.425 asking for the overhead.
Only heard Omega 10 on ZDC Sea Isle 133.125 2:17 local and didn't mention any receivers with him.
2:34 local ASCOT 9212 inbound Dover appch 132.425 for runway 32 and weak A/A thick accent 255.150
Sounds like first wave of Firebox Spanish Typhoons inbound KDOV. They must have all come up the Delaware Bay
straight onto runway 32 :)
