I stayed home from work, sick today. I just heard something out of the ordinary and saw NIGHTHAWK-16 heading towards Mt Weather. Only now hearing it calling Mt Weather on 126.2

1408- Likes like it might be the one showing as ~278B86 on ADSBX now.

Hi,

RETRO 41-43 with BLUE 91 (79-1951) departed from Bangor this evening and were cleared to Nellis AFB
under Coronet East 018. The KC-10 was cleared to Travis AFB. After departure they switched to Boston center
on 124.250, 134.950, 128.325, 123.875 and finally to 127.475 (NY center ?) and then I lost them ....

René.

That's an odd route.

125.325 is as shown below, it is the normal change over frequency from 125.450 for aircraft departing the Washington DC / Baltimore area headed Northeast over NJ and out over New York area.

134.500
125.450
125.325
124.525 and so forth

Matawan, NJ RCAG

Frequency License Type Tone Alpha Tag Description Mode Tag
125.32500 ZNY56 JFK-H Sector 56 Kennedy High

Flight track similar to this United Airlines flight currently departing to Brussels from Washington Dulles

I sent you a PM.
Thats a newer TAC channel for the DEVILs out of ACY
Ive had that one 339.725 for a while labled as W-107/W-108 common Range freq
listed in Ron's 2019 Mil freq list.
Busy tonight currently with WILD DC ANG flights.

Yeah, but the GAF route was not the pictured normal route. It tracked straight into PA before turning east.

View attachment 81353

That would be the JERES TWO DEPARTURE out of Dulles. Once the aircraft was NW of Trenton NJ they would have been switched to the 125.325 frequency. A similar departure would be this flight.....AFL105 (Aeroflot). If you look at the flights in Flightaware (especially) on March 02 2020 and January 27 2020 - which took the more northerly departure versus the usual SWANN departure I described.

I sent this message earlier to Justin and Pete - but sharing it again

The 339.725 is not a TAC channel for ACY F16s but is actually a Common Air Frequency for Warning Area 107 (W107) used by anyone in W107 for coordination.

W-107Check in/out 255.0 (Primary) 135.725 (Primary) W-107 Common Area Frequency: 339.725

Lots of information in that official Navy publication.

Unknown P-8 or P-3 (AE66C1) out of Pax, very close to me right now. I think I just caught the end of their comms on 133.85 so missed the ID.

It's TIGER13.

Will plug it in one of the radios....currently hearing Pax River ATIS on 322.425 so conditions must be good.
