2002 - Just heard some chatter on (305.20) about WILD01 flight going out to a tanker for some gas. I assume DC ANG F-16C's linking with AHART45 (KC-10A, 79-0433)

0905- Potomac at BWI (317.425) advises trfc that 6 A-10s are off Martin State heading west. Maybe to Evers MOA? Hearing acft check-ins on 266.6. P:assing time w/trivia questions. Questions given over the radio & answers via text msg. I didn't know they had that capability.

0923- Scan 05 (CRJ-7 N805X) & Scan 04 (CRJ-7 N804X) working on NGTF discretes( 123.225 & 275.2). Rare use of the UHF freq. Scan 05 is over the southern tip of NJ and Scan 04 is out in the Atlantic Test Track.

0933- 5 more MD ANG A-10s on discrete (271.4) w/acft check ins. Maybe they are headed out west somewhere which might explain the C-17 that went into Martin Sate a couple of days ago. Need somebody to carry the ground crew & equipment.

Must be a long haul for the A-10s. I heard the first group doing their trivia...the one pilot in the second flight said he downloaded 100 questions off the internet. I did not hear any ATC check ins or hand offs but they just switched to another channel from 271.40.

Dave,

After their departure on BWI Potomac freq I also didn't hear them working any ATC freqs. One of the first group did mention that they were about 6 mins early for a future AAR but didn't see any tankers around.

1111- Decoy 88 (C-17 # 96-0006 AE07F0 167th AS WVA ANG) working Mountaineer CP (297.9)

1130- ADS-B showing a couple of Reach acft Reach 1008 (C-130 # 89-0280) & Reach 1010 (C-130 # 90-0162) transiting our area to the south along the coast. I'd bet my last dollar that they are Spec Ops types. They both left from Bangor.
