Strange Reception Issues BCT8

Since Thursday (12/9/2010) I've been having odd reception issues with my BCT8. At times of the day the reception will go to static but you can still barley hear the broadcast. I've tried opening the bottom and tuning it (didn't need tuning), I've looked at my antenna (ST-2 Scanner Antenna) all seems good there. And I've tried different wall outlets. Still the same situation. It doesn't happen on one frequency, it happens on all frequencies. Is there something else I should look at?
