When the old guy where running the business he probably had that as the only thing he had to do, build combiners and fullfill orders and had great support as when I blew up my combiner he sent me a new transistor free of charge.

Today the remaining family tries to run the business but probably have other daytime jobs so the time they devote to it will be random and they probably wait for some orders to accumulate and then builds and ship all those over a weekend or two. It's still good they they manage to keep the business alive as it is one of few combiners that are plug&play and very easy to use for anyone. Some people do not have the skills or time necessary to build their own combiner, so it will be a loss if they decide to close shop.

Having worked in the aerospace and manufacturing industry and also having friends who worked in aerospace and moonlighted at home soldering and assembling things for other companies I know its not that expensive farming out labor to solder and assemble small electronic devices. Stridesberg could easily find a skilled aerospace worker to assemble small lots of multicouplers at home taking some burden off the owners and getting product out the door.

If anyone remembers Angle Linear preamps, Chip hired a friend I worked with at Hughes Aircraft and she assembled some of Chips products at home so he could better meet schedules. The worker was NASA certified in soldering and very skilled at mechanical assembly and it was good for both parties for her to take on the work.

I remember a Company called Lunar Preamps we used their preamps on our 2 meter repeater early 1980's. They did not like lightning, but the Company would repair them and get them back fast.

I ordered from Stridsberg over 2 weeks ago. I'm experiencing the dead silence from them on this order, too. No emails, calls to their business line go unanswered. Paypal sent the money same day, that's all I have as proof of this purchase.
It's very frustrating to be out $600, not knowing if I lost the cash or if it's an order that will eventually be shipped.
does anyone know of other companies that seel similar equipment?
I will purchase from them if they exist, as long as customer service is top priority.
I been trying to contact them too and no reply back or no call back. Very frustrating

It seems like there is a business opportunity here.

The family might be persuaded to sell while their reputation remains ( mostly ) intact.

It seems several here have the knowledge, skill and contacts to carry it on.

Hoping for a good outcome for all.

I eventually got my order, never heard from them though. I placed a second order after getting my first delivery. I knew what to expect this time, silent treatment. I just received PayPal confirmation my order was shipped.
Their products are good. The business side of things need improvement but they are shipping out orders, at minimum it's about 2 to 3 weeks of dead silence before things get shipped.
