Structure Fire - Mapleton

Fully engulfed home at 2545 South Hidden Canyon Dr (570 West). Home is under construction and unoccupied. Mapleton Fire is on scene. Paged Spanish Fork for an additional engine and their ladder truck.

FYI: Starting 1/1/2009 Springville started dispatching Mapleton Fire and PD instead of UtCo Dispatch. For one month SVPD was on TG 45696 and MPD was on 45952. On 2/1/2009 Both PDs ended up on 45952. I think this is a permanent thing but cannot verify for sure.

According to the news this fire was Suspicious. There also were two Arson fires in West Jordan overnight. Could be very possible these will be linked as well. If there is a serial Arson around we may start hearing more fires. I hope that no one will be hurt. I also hope that the Arson Task Force can quickly end this.

Sometime between 5:30 and 6 AM I heard a dispatcher call a Mapleton officer saying there was a structure fire at the above address and was getting a bit "frustrated" because they were having trouble with the pagers and some channels. No surprise with all the changes at Springville Dispatch as of late.
As with the West Jordan situation I heard news break on ABC4 about an hour later? Coinsidence? All were homes under construction? Something like this happened a few years back which, if I remember correctly, was an eco-terror group and didn't they torch a lumber yard in Sandy too? Viper I hope this is not the case.
