I know the ARRL has the study guides for each class but is there one book that covers all three tests? Or do I have to purchase each one seperate?

i have only seen the study guides one for each class for arrl but when i did a google search on it i found this

No-Nonsense Study Guides - KB6NU's Ham Radio Blog

Maybe not for everyone, but man, did these study guides work for me. After flipping through "Ham Radio for Dummies" for a year or so (which I highly recommend, it gives a lot of broad, fuzzy background in an entertaining manner), I jumped into these guides and went from zero to General in about two weeks.

I'll endorse the KB6NU study guides. Tech and General are free and helped me pass both tests first go around. The Extra guide does cost $7.99, but the first 2 were good enough for me to not think twice about it.

I used the ARRL books for Tech and General, but since I was crunched for time and the ARRL books are not available digitally, I got the KB6NU book for the Extra. Worked well for me!

I should also say that I had trouble with the download of the book, so I emailed KB6NU and he responded with a copy within a couple hours (just in time to get it before my flight). So, good customer service too!

Thanks for the plugs, guys!

I also invite people to contact me if they have any questions about any of the material in the study guides. I love helping people get and upgrade their amateur radio licenses.
