The Sueños Music Festival was held in Chicago's Grant Park this past weekend. While at work, I found the following (partial?) Cap+ system in use there yesterday:
451.7875 CC 5, LCN 5
451.8626 CC 6, LCN 6
451.6875 CC 7, LCN 7
452.1250 CC 8, LCN 0 (?)
LCNs were determined by my SDS100's LCN Finder. The SDS100 stopped for traffic on all freqs above in DMR trunking mode. I don't ever recall seeing a system using LCN 0 before, not even sure there is such a thing as LCN 0. I should have tried programming 452.125 as LCN 8 to see if that would have worked as well.
I couldn't find a license for this system, not even an STA license. I'm assuming I am missing (at least) LCNs 1-4 but I couldn't find them after numerous searches of the UHF biz bands. Is there anyone here who keeps track of the systems used by BearCom, Communications Direct, etc. at concerts and other special events that might recognize these freqs/CCs/LCNs a part of a temporary Cap+ system used by one of these companies?
It's a little late now, but maybe this information might be of some use next year if they use the same system.
