As of April 1 of this year, Ocean County took over the dispatching of Surf City PD, on Surf City's frequency, 460.250. Prior to this happening, Surf City dispatched both their own PD as well as Ship Bottom, on that frequency. However, since the change, Ship Bottom has had to move off of that frequency. If anyone knows what frequency Ship Bottom PD is on now and who is doing the dispatching, would you please post ? Thank you.

I have a feeling they're being dispatched by Long Beach Township PD on 460.3000 MHz (PL 123.0 Hz)/453.4500 MHz (DPL 412). I'll go and check the FCC's site for any other licenses they have and edit this post with the results.

EDIT: Ship Bottom has licensed repeaters on 453.7250 MHz and 460.1250 MHz.

I have 460.1250 MHz down as Beach Haven Beach Patrol (PL 192.8 Hz), but it's still worth checking.

EDIT 2:
My co-worker, who lives in Ship Bottom, confirmed that Ship Bottm PD is being dispatched by Long Beach Twp on 460.3

Gee, evidently none of the rest of us even know to do that and must rely on you to do that for us. Ranks up there with Curt Gowdy saying "Let's go to the videotape" at least ten times per show.

So, now that Surf City is being dispatched by the county, how likely is it that Surf City PD will migrate over to the TRS?

There is a possibility they will go to the County system in the future, but as of now, everyone is satisfied with things the way they are.
