Sussex County - Wantage FD

Does anyone have more information on the new Wantage FD freq grant. It looks like a VHF-Hi repeater based system 154.3175 (input 159.2175). What's interesting is that the license is for both typical NFM and also for NXDN.

I've monitored for the past few days and haven't picked up anything useful, no analog or digital signals that would be from a base station, unless they are from a nearby portable.

Sorta found the answer to my own question, had the FD on my street today and asked one of the chiefs.

The plan to to build-out the new site with a VHF-Hi system on a repeater to act as the new fireground for Wantage. They have significant problems communicating on the VHF-Lo FG channel so this is the planned solution. They have a year to finish build out at the site.
