What's the best way to cloan/copy everything from my current HD to a new one? (the old one is on its last legs) I run XP pro. If possible I would also like to transfer the OS.
Thanks
Bill

norton ghost is good, but there are several others out there just as good or better. it takes all of about 10-15 mins to do, including initial setup.

If you are going to clone a drive it is way better to have both drives connected to a EIDE or sata port.
I did one thru a USB 2 and it took 27 hours. Connected directly=23 minutes

Clonezilla is absolutely the best program to clone/ghost a drive. Its open sourced, and I've used it many times. Whats easiest is to create an image, then image that to your new drive. It took me 27 mins to image a 200 gig drive via USB and 13 to put the image to a new drive.
