SWR/Wattmeter, which one ?

So many swr/wattmeters out there to pick from, looking for something that accurate but won't break the bank...
Not running a amplifier here, don't no if I ever will or not from the looks of the prices on them, what meter would you all recommend ?...

Used Bird 43 with the correct slug(s) for the power level you'll be running. It will outlast you, your house, your radios, your kids, your grandkids, etc.

The Bird will allow you to "calculate" the SWR from the forward/reflected power formula for SWR. Or you can use the provided SWR graph.

If you don't want to spend major $$$ the Surecom meters are excellent. They have HF and VHF/UHF now. Approximately $75 and $57 respectively (on Amazon.)

Rechargeable battery too -- and it seems to last forever.

I bought mine 20+ years ago, and it was pretty crusty back then.
