Sync Playlists from Scanner to iScan

I've hit a dead end in my troubleshooting even though I think I was able to access it before. I am currently trying to add a couple of frequencies to a playlist in an older Radio Shack Pro-668 scanner, but on a new laptop where it wasn't originally configured. The 668 uses the old iScan software. I can't seem to get iScan to show the playlists already in the scanner. I've tried "Copy Configuration From Scanner Memory/SD Card" but that didn't get it to do so. Where am I going wrong?

Does the scanner work OK?

Scanner works fine. Not sure if I am not connecting it properly (powered on or off, keeping it on the wrong screen, or what). Having a braindead moment and not remembering how I think I had it connected before.

Try a different cable. You may have a charge only cable.

I somehow just forced it through after you mentioned that. It was saying something like "can't connect to scanner, try unplugging and then plug it in and try again". So I wasn't sure whether it should be powered on or not. But I just kept clicking on "ok" to do it again and it finally updated. The playlists are there. Thanks. But concerning either way. Wonder if it its in the early stages of a micro-SD failure, a cable issue, or just general glitchiness.

When programming, the scanner should be turned off.
