and now with having TSA Pre-Check, I've not been asked about all my electronics
Same here. In Miami where they do that horrible thing of making everyone go into the single line with the stupid card, my bag ended up going through "regular" screening and was halted. Until I told them I was pre-check and they let it go.

How did you run the coax into the airplane?

It was only a 4 or 5 foot run so I just let it dangle down from the window to the scanner. The window was set back a little like in this pic and seat behind me was empty.

Was just wondering about what TSA would say.
TSA has searched by bag multiple times and taken out my 2 scanners to reach other items and they don't mind it at all, just don't use it on the plane.
I'm wondering if I would hear the pilot speaking if I turn on Close Call. I will try this in a few days with my BCD436HP.
Don't. It's not allowed and can cause other issues.

on the plane listening no real utility, just asking for trouble. Before takeoff or to hear from maint. radios outside talking reason for delays of a flight while they tell you something else (huh? that's so much harder than juzt telling you the truth). Taking gadgets on travel most of time only worried about your loose or installed Li-ion batteries showing on xray, cool gadgets they dont even understand what they are looking at, so be polite while they do their job & offer to explain what they don't understand but clearly dont want to ask to avoid looking inexperienced to bosses. It's your job to follow rules & roll with it. Hope someone was joking about running coax for antenna suction cup to a window
on a plane- really? over the line
