Talk Groups some vs. all

How do you set up your banks to receive only the talk groups you enter in the lower right had portion of your screen? I've attached a copy of my set-up screen. In addtion to the talk groups I have entered, I'm getting a lot of one's that I haven't entered. I've got the same results only inputting the control channels instead of all the frequencies. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Great pict of your setup! Try checking the box next to "Closed" near the bank name. That should help.

Or you can manually open/close banks by pressing FUNC then ./DELAY when stopped on a specific bank.

I'm not familiar with the Pro97, but my 95 only needs the control channels entered. You may want to check your manual on that.

Also, as stated before, you need to have the bank in Closed mode. This will allow the scanner to track only the TGID's you have programmed. You are in Open mode now which tracks all TGID's in the system.

Thanks for the help. Turning on "closed" did the trick.
