I have a BCD396T. Is there a way to search a range of Talkgroup ID's ? For example, 33296 to 43824.

You can use the program called ID Tracker for doing this. You will find it on this web site or on the internet using google search.

A program from Signal Intellegence called Trunkstar Elite Pro, can connect to your 396t and will record the talkgroup number and audio, but it's commercial software that must be purchased. There is a demo however...

Also, depending upon your goal, you can use UniTrunker to log all the talkgroups on a site/system, tapping the discriminator of a radio/scanner.
