When you watch TAPS next time,note the stickers on the back of the radios! They're probably rental radios.
I'm guessing probably on a vhf itinerant if you noticed the antennas on them.

If you simply watch an episode you will see stickers on the rear of their portables. Hence,my assumption that they're rentals.

I've often wondered what they use too, and I have noticed it seems they're on VHF using Motorola portables. I've searched the FCC under TAPS, T.A.P.S, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, and even under Grant and Jason's names... no luck. Must be rentals. Be awesome to listen to a complete night or just give them a shout out. ha.
