Following some of the feedback (and a new scanner to add to the collection), I have spent some time over the weekend designing and setting up my "Tassie Devil Radio Case MK2".
Based on my experience with the "MK1" version, I wanted to better separate each type of equipment (radios, aerials, chargers, earphones) and also provide better protection for the radios. I am also going to playing around with designing and testing different wire aerials, so having all of the parts to do this in a single location was also a driving factor.
After trying some different ideas and layouts, I settled on this setup. I ended up placing some foam between the two hand held radios, to give them some protection and also to act as a divider between them. I also sorted all my cables, adaptors and other bits and pieces, these all now have a home and overall, it just works much better now. I have removed my 0.5W UHF handheld and have added my BC95XLT.
